General Election 2015

This is a time capsule of sorts; a portrait of Britain in the time surrounding the 2015 General Election.

The 100 photos represent the percentage breakdown of the vote, so there are 30 red photos for Labour’s 30%, 12 purple photos for UKiP’s 12.6% etc. The photos are arranged left-to-right in accordance with each party’s politics: Greens and SNP on the far left, then Labour, then Lib Dems, then Tories and then UKIP on the far right.

Each photo represents a moment or issue which was important during the period surrounding the election.
